Julia Fisher talks to Alon Grimberg – This week’s edition of The Olive Tree finds us back in a rural part of central Israel talking to Alon Grimberg. As we heard on last week’s programme, Alon was born in Germany and came to live in Israel many years ago. Today, several years later, he is married to Rajaa, an Arab Christian, and together they are involved in an organisation called Lech L’cha which trains young believers, both Jews and Arabs, to be the leaders of tomorrow. Today we hear how Alon gave up his job as an Agricultural Engineer to develop the work of Lech L’cha.

Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
