Julia Fisher talks to Azar Ajaj & students at NETS – Today I’m taking you to Nazareth which lies to the West of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel. Nazareth today is an Arab town and we’re going to visit Dr Azar Ajaj, an Arab Christian who is Dean of Students and a lecturer at the Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary, or NETS for short. We will also be hearing from some of the students. This college is the realisation of a dream that Azar had some time ago to train young Arab Christians and prepare them for church leadership in Israel in the future.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
