Julia Fisher talks to Dan Sered – Dan was born in Israel into a secular Jewish family. He later became a believer in Jesus and joined the missionary organisation Jews for Jesus. Their mandate is to relentlessly pursue God’s plan for the salvation of the Jewish people – and as you can imagine, they are not always popular. Undaunted, Dan became the Director of Jews for Jesus based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Today he oversees the work of all the missionaries for Jews for Jesus around the world. He was in Jerusalem recently to open a new office there … this is a bold step – he told me why.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
