Julia Fisher talks to Yousef Dakwar – My guest today is an Arab pastor in Haifa, northern Israel. His name is Yousef Dakwar and as well as being the pastor of an Arab church in the city, he is also involved in media and more recently, has been following the plight of refugees fleeing from and through Syria to Europe. In this programme we hear how Yousef’s church began – it is an encouraging story which demonstrates what can happen from small beginnings.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
