Julia Fisher talks to Lisa Loden – Born into a Russian Jewish family, Lisa was born in America. During the early 1960s, in her search for truth she took herself off to live the life of a hermit. However, as Lisa described on last week’s programme, David, who was to become her husband arrived on the scene. They married and lived as hippies, Lisa studying whilst David worked in a woodmill where the owner happened to be a Christian. What was Lisa’s reaction when David became a Christian – hitherto she had dismissed Jesus as an irrational notion.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
