Julia Fisher talks to Labib Madanat – This programme is all about finding out what God is doing in Israel and the Palestinian areas – a part of the world that you may think is beyond hope when it comes to finding peace. Well stay tuned – this programme will show you there is hope and indeed reconciliation between Arab and Jewish believers in Jesus is happening today. Labib Madanat is a Christian from Jordan. For many years he lived and worked in Jerusalem as Director of Bible Society work there and now he is the Middle East Advisor to the Bible Society. Although an Arab himself, Labib has always had a heart for the Jewish people and indeed reconciliation has been at the centre of all his work. I put it to him that he’s always been a bridge builder.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
