Julia Fisher talks to Labib Madanat- He is a Jordanian Christian who has lived in several countries in the Middle East including Israel. He speaks several languages and normally would be travelling extensively in his capacity as the Middle East Advisor to the Bible Society. Now living in the UK but currently in lockdown due to the Covid 19 outbreak, I caught up with him via Zoom. Born in Jerusalem in 1964 to Jordanian parents, here Labib describes his early years which prepared him for his work now.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
