Julia Fisher talks to Shmuel Salway – Recently I was in a place just north of Tel Aviv in Israel called Petah Tikvah, visiting an organisation for young people called Lech L’Cha which means go forth. The director there is Shmuel Salway. As with everybody in Israel, he has an interesting story! His parents came to Israel from India and it’s interesting to note that there is now a sizeable Indian Jewish community living in the Holy Land. Listen now as Shmuel describes more about his background and how he comes to be doing what he’s doing today.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
