Julia Fisher talks to Mazen Naswari – Today I’m in the Old City of Jerusalem talking to a Palestinian pastor called Mazen Naswari. His church is located in a narrow street close to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and he lives and works in a tight knit community that is predominantly Muslim. So, in the current situation where there has been much trouble and killing, I asked Mazen how the Palestinian people in his church are reacting and coping.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
