Julia Fisher talks to Nabil Somara, an Israeli Arab who was born and lives in Nazareth. We met at the Nazareth Evangelical College where he teaches. Nabil studied theology in Switzerland and America before returning to Nazareth. He could have chosen an easier life but he believed God wanted him back in Nazareth. He has a strong sense of destiny. “God is doing something beyond our expectations” he told me. Nabil takes up the story.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
