Julia Fisher talks to Nabil Somara – Today finds us in Nazareth talking to an Israeli Arab Christian called Nabil Somara who is on the staff of the Nazareth Evangelical College where he is the Director of Administrative Affairs. Nabil was born in Nazareth in 1965 and has lived there all his life apart from a few years spent abroad to study. Today Nazareth is an Arab city where the majority of people are Muslim. But when Nabil was growing up, it was a predominantly Christian city. So what has happened there during Nabil’s lifetime?
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
