Julia Fisher talks to Yousef Dakwar – Recently I took a group of people to Israel to meet some of the people we work with through our charity, the Olive Tree Reconciliation Fund. In Haifa we visited Yousef Dakwar, an Arab pastor who is also the founder and director of Cross Media Productions – a Christian media organisation that broadcasts both radio and television programmes in Arabic around the world. I’ve known Yousef for many years and watched as his work has developed from small beginnings. We visited him in his studios and it was there he told us his story.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
