Julia Fisher talks to Lev Guler – Thousands of Russian and Ukrainian Jews have emigrated to Israel in recent years, and many live in Netanya, a town on the coast just north of Tel Aviv. Lev Guler was born in Russia. His mother was a Jewess from Kiev in Ukraine, and his father was Russian. He was educated in the communist system and came to live in Israel 20 years ago. I started by asking him when he discovered he was Jewish.
