Julia Fisher talks to Labib Madanat, an Arab Christian who has lived in Jerusalem most of his life and who now oversees teams of Arab/Palestinian Christians and Messianic Jewish believers on behalf of the Bible Society. Labib manages to carry God’s heart for both peoples and works tirelessly to encourage reconciliation through joint initiatives. He travels extensively throughout the Middle East so is well placed to see the bigger picture. With the continued unrest in the Arab world, I asked him to share his understanding of what God is doing in the region.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
