Julia Fisher talks to Nihad Salman – This is the programme that connects you with believers in Jesus living in the Holy Land – both Jewish and Palestinian Arab people – bringing you their stories. Today we visit an evangelical pastor in Bethlehem – his name is Nihad Salman. In a town where the majority of the people are Muslim, being an evangelical Christian puts you in the minority. So, I began by asking Nihad to explain to us what it’s like being a pastor in Bethlehem today.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
