Julia Fisher talks to Labib Madanat. He is an Arab Christian leader who until recently lived in Jerusalem. He has always been an agent for reconciliation between Messianic Jewish believers and Arab or Palestinian Christians travelling extensively in the region. Recently he moved to Amman in Jordan and as you are about to hear, this has been a challenging time for Labib as he is now living amongst an Arab people who have a largely negative attitude towards Israel. In this interview, recorded recently in Jerusalem, Labib shares his insight into the heart of God for both peoples, especially in these days of turbulence in many Arab nations.
Our aim is to build bridges… To build bridges of understanding and support, in a spirit of reconciliation, between believers (both Jewish and Arab) in the Holy Land (Israel and the Palestinian Areas) and Christians worldwide.
