All the stories you hear or read on this website are from people who believe in Jesus and live in Israel – Jews and Arabs/Palestinians. Then ask yourself the question, ‘What is the connection between their life and mine and why should I care?’

Stories help us to understand the times. As Christians, whether Jew or Gentile, we all share the same faith and the same Bible. Imagine walking around Jerusalem and taking the path from the Old City across the Kidron Valley to the Garden of Gethsemane and then standing on the Mount of Olives – the very place where Jesus ascended into heaven and where He will return to. Understand the roots of our faith are here!

Does Israel matter?

Support

Stories awaken our hearts towards others. For believers in Jesus, living in the Holy Land today can be very tough whether you are Jewish, Israeli Arab or Palestinian. You can give to support those in need and know that every pound you donate via the OTRF will go to help believers we know who are working with the poor and vulnerable, the homeless, the disabled and those recovering from addiction.

Reconciliation

Stories of reconciliation between ‘enemies’ surprise us! In the context of the Middle East this means Jews and Arabs and these stories are at the heart of what God is doing in Israel today. Muslims becoming believers in the God of Israel and praying for their Jewish neighbours. Former Orthodox religious Jews meeting their Messiah. Arab and Jewish pastors meeting together to pray for each other. God has no favourites. All have a part to play in the story that is Israel today.
