Week 92 - Dan Alon (Part 2 of 2)
Last week we heard the story of Dan Alon, a Jewish believer living in the Negev in southern Israel with his wife Dalia. Whilst on a visit to America they met a lady who happened to have the same camera as Dalia and who happened to be a Jewish believer. A conversation followed and a friendship was started which led, some months later, to Dan and Dalia finding faith in Jesus … by this time they were in their 40s. On returning to Israel they eventually met other believers and joined a congregation in Tiberias where they stayed for many years. As they grew older they realised the Lord wanted them to move and now they live in the Negev where they have started a small congregation.

Week 88 - Patrick (at Beit Nitzachon)
My guest today is Patrick … he was born in Holland into a Jewish family. He has lived in Israel for many years as you will hear, and for most of those years he has been addicted to heroin. When I first met Patrick he looked very ill … he had just arrived at Beit Nitzachon or the House of Victory – a faith based drug rehab centre in Haifa, northern Israel where the director, Eric Benson is a Christian. The philosophy of Beit Nitzachon is very simple – prayer. And it works … because when I saw Patrick recently, just 16 months after coming to Beit Nitzachon I didn’t recognise him. He had transformed from somebody at death’s door, to a man who looked fit, bright and happy.
